Part I: His-story of feminism
I have finally had a chance to post this up, as I am without internet for 12 days at home (sigh…we really do depend a lot on these corporate manipulators) while I was unable to upload anything from the local library computer. Ahhhh! But there are internet cafes and a solution…yes?
The subheading of this post is about the destruction of the Afrikan family bond. While the destruction of the Afrikan family bond didn’t happen at this point in our sojourn in the wilderness of the west. I had started this post as a challenge to a particular person on my facebook site, whose arrogance and ignorance (lack of overstanding) of this phenomenon has made him a convenient and fanatical soldier in this feminazis army. This cat once started out as a pan-Afrikanist then morphed into a socialist—something that I cannot today associate with Pan-Afrikanism. Oh! but it doesn’t stop there. This cat is a scholar and a lettered person, thus intellectually believes in the scholarly works of people who themselves are lettered and scholarly. Thus any scholarly works that pertains to things such as the positive values of feminism, all the way down to homosexuality as being a part of Afrikan culture, is readily accepted more so than my non lettered ass, who just do…you know…internet and other research.
A diversion a bit regarding the phenomenon of Afrikan homosexuality, all these books were written by homosexuals or pro homosexual authors. Yet none of our Afrikan centric scholars, such as Chiek Anta Diop, Dr. Ben, Ashwa Kwesi, Chancer Williams, John Henrick Clark, Marimba Ani, or even early European scholars such as E. A. Wallis Budge, have ever stated that this was a lifestyle lived in Afrika. Neither did the Afrikans leave any pre-Christian stories about this lifestyle through oral narrative or physical depiction on temple walls, pottery reliefs, grave sites or totems. However one could easily find this kind of thing when talking about Hellenic culture.
Picture here…..this is pottery unearthed in looking for signs of greek culture.
Now this individual, of whom I speak, has also claimed that he is an anarchist, this very alarming to me due to the images I am familiar with of anarchy and the meaning behind that worldview. The most disturbing self proclamation believe it or not is when this cat proudly states that he is a feminist. From an intellectual and sterile point of view I overstand that statement as being supportive of feminist ideals and equity stance. The inconsistence is that I have yet to hear a female or even many emasculated males claims to be a masculinist, or someone who supports a masculine stance or ideal. You will never find this because to be masculine in today’s society is to be equated with barbarism, female or even child abuse, not having a female side (whatever the fuck that means) and worse…to be automatically associated as misogynist. Mysogynism is one of those five dollar words created by feminazis to shame men into complying with this anti-female anti- male agenda of creating superior females over the supine and quivering bodies of inferior males.
Emasculation: tr.v.e·mas·cu·lat·ed, e·mas·cu·lat·ing, e·mas·cu·lates
1. To castrate.
2. To deprive of strength or vigor; weaken.
Deprived of virility, strength, or vigor.
1. emasculation – loss of power and masculinity effeminacy, effeminateness, sissiness, unmanliness, womanishness, softness – the trait of being effeminate (derogatory of a man); “the students associated science with masculinity and arts with effeminacy”; “Spartans accused Athenians of effeminateness”; “he was shocked by the softness of the atmosphere surrounding the young prince, arising from the superfluity of the femininity that guided him”
2. emasculation – neutering a male animal by removing the testicles castration altering, neutering, fixing – the sterilization of an animal; “they took him to the vet for neutering”
Getting to the vegetables and fruit of the matter (because meat and potatoes will kill you fast)
Over the last 40 years feminism has been touted as the great equalizer, a phenomenon whose time has come, that would break the chains of “male oppression” and “female victimization.” Feminism is viewed as the tool that finally liberated women, enabling them to close numerous gaps between themselves and men, particularly in the traditional area of men’s production and rewards. Feminism doesn’t stop there however. Feminism also teaches both males and females that she can wear your pants and you can wear her dress, she can smoke as much as you and you can wear make as much as her. In the areas of child rearing, feminism teaches young females that child rearing or child bearing is a choice that she doesn’t have to GIVE IN TO, while also conditioning males that it is NATURAL for him to be a STAY AT HOME DAD, while his PARTNER goes out to do the heavy lifting. The narrative is that feminism is and will always be good thing for previously oppressed women. According to the story tellers, feminism was created in order for women to free themselves from male “oppression” otherwise known in the intellectual masturbatory circles as patriarchy.
1.A system of society or government in which the father or eldest male is head of the family and descent is traced through the male line.
2.A system of society or government in which men hold the power and women are largely excluded from it.
1.A system of society or government ruled by a woman or women.
2.A form of social organization in which descent and relationship are reckoned through the female line.
There are many among my darkly matter people, who like to claim that Afrikan culture was a matriarchy. The problem with using European language to describe an Afrikan experience is to diminish that experience and value and superimpose a foreign concept and under-standing onto something it was not designed to describe. Thus in describing our experience as Patriarchy and Matriarchy as something native to us, we ingest the concept of Yurugu, who according to the Dogon creation story, was forcibly ejected from the great egg of creation without his life partner and compliment… the woman. Because he was incomplete (Afrikan concept of the duality of nature and duality of spirit is also misunderstood and given physical gender manifestation behind the teaching point of its base) Yurugu was cursed to be unfeeling and contentious against all that the great mother, Amma, AND her consort, ammA, would provide.
According supporters of feminism, this philosophy and world view, has enabled women to be equal to men in all areas of life. Most importantly to be able to get equal pay, for doing the SAME work as men. I know for a fact that there are some works women are much better at than men, and vice versa. I am also here to testify that similar work done by both, 9 times out of 10, women cannot keep up, yet decry that they don’t get equal pay for the same work. This is bullshit of course. And even if this is true, here I believe if she can keep up she should be afforded the same compensation and opportunity to rise above her position. However, when men complain about women not carrying their weight a different narrative crops up about male discrimination, harassment or privilege that totally deflects from the concerns about women not being ideally suited for the job. I know I work in an environment like that and it is quite troubling.
El Hajj Malik Al Shabazz once stated …”Of all our studies, history (and ourstory) is best qualified to reward our research.”
However, many of us, yes, including I at one time, did believe this narrative about feminism and what it affords women. Despite the deep down question as to why does her build up has to be on the backs of me being torn down, I felt the pull to support the underdog, the feminine, our mothers, sisters and aunts, against the evil and oppressive nature of men, our fathers, uncles, brothers and grandfathers. As I grew wiser and noticed the toxicity of feminist responses when men attempt to question blatant discriminations, unequal social and judicial responses and straight up fuckery of women refusing to take responsibility for their personal decision; I not only began to challenge certain held beliefs but to question how and where did certain expectation and notion of feminisms fight originated. What I found out was that feminism was never about women’s equality. At least, not in the sense that we currently accept it as is. Feminism was created with two specific purposes. Feminism was originally about promoting hatred of men and hatred of the family structure of men+woman+ children. This hatred was extended to and included those females who rightfully questioned why there is specific energies and purpose visibly evident behind the aggressive attacks on men and blaming them for all of women’s problem.
Secondly feminism is also about money and power, two things more powerful than sex in today’s society, but is intertwined with sex to distort the base line notion of family and the relationship of the two genders…male and female. As quite as it is kept in this matrix, women were never oppressed the way the narrative lied about. I am not even talking about the older civilizations of Afrika and elsewhere were Eurasian anthropologist have begrudgingly admitted that women exercised and occupied halls of power. I am talking about the newer culture of Eurasia (called Europe today). Truly oppressed people are those forcibly enslaved, or placed in a no win situation where, their movements are curtailed, their bodies are not their own and even what and how to think is controlled by outsiders through systematic designs. True oppression is when the mannequin in the brooks brother suite, at the behest of the international bankers and the Zionists, insists on invading and bombing the hell out of countries that has never threatened or posed any threat to Amerikkka. True oppression is when the most fertile continent on the planet is raped daily of its natural resources, while the men, women and children are either used as fodder for colonial and imperial ends or are starved, enslaved and denied access to the very wealth in the earth of the great mother….Afrika.
Yes! Men have been known to abuse women. Physically or psychologically and many do because they lack the strength to deal with certain inability to control their own lives and the things that give them value. This does not justify abuse but attempts to explain why men would hurt the one who is supposed to be his complement. There has never been a system of men abusing females. NEVER! There has been a time when environment and circumstances created a condition where women may end up being more vulnerable than men…but many men were also vulnerable, due to a position of status and class, and less about gender. Again taken from Eurasian narrative, unless she was born in a certain era and to a certain status, she is equally oppressed as was her compliment in that same era and status. The one redeeming factor for men was he could use his physical strength to engage in and die in a tribal conflict orchestrated by people of certain status and power. And because women were needed to repopulate the land whenever there was a shortage of men, they were of course absolved from conscription. Yet even in this area, European his-story tells tale of female warriors who defended home and country. This in some way explains the drive for male babies as opposed to female babies. They, male babies, were seen as replacement cannon fodder. The same could be said for Afrikan males…but I will keep this a Eurasian one, since feminism will be proven to be a concept by and for Caucasian females….initially!
As was stated above…many of the notions of female oppression is the result of revisionists, super imposing their modern distorted views on a society of yore, where each gender played a specific role, where each experienced their version of discomfort and danger or rewards. Based on the origin of and the design of this philosophy, one could conclude that feminism in fact oppresses women. However, since most of us will not let facts get in the way of fantasy, I will travel with you down the road to the origin of feminism to show you its origin and sinister design that has morphed in to a point where men have become obsolete and considered not necessary in all things men are suited for. The fact is before feminism women could choose whether to work or not. Before feminism women were idealized as precious commodity, to be fought over and protected. And except for a few rebels, many females enjoyed this privilege and used it for their own ends. Prior to feminism, something as apparently chauvinist as where women were forbidden to be in the company of too many men, was in reality an attempt to protect women’s reputation and honor from males who knew not what neither meant. Even today many males will act like they are friends with females in order/hope that they get to play up in her sweet spot. And females in their dopiness will believe often that. Mind you one can be a friend with a female and not have sexual fantasies about her….but… there are males and females who don’t believe that and act accordingly. Acting accordingly in this case is to engage in risky behaviour that down the road often have negative physical, emotional, financial and eventually societal effects on one or both.
This is and was the kind of situation some men of bygone years and some women too, choose to believe and set up barriers against. Women, even in certain under class had choices to work or not to work, to do work that enhanced their reputation or not, to have families or not. Now they have no choice. They HAVE to work. They HAVE to set family and children aside in order to be another brick in the wall of capitalism or socialism, which is the poor demented cousin of capitalism…which is just plain demented!
By encouraging/forcing women into the work force, feminism has disrupted family life and has created generations, or several generations of disconnected people, who have placed family value and relationship below the value of material things and “making a living”. Some of the results of the increase of women in the work force are higher taxes and higher housing prices. Higher values placed on material possession instead of intrinsic relationships. With the change in the social dynamics of the work force, there are increases in marriage breakdowns, divorces, increases in extra marital sex and nervous breakdowns, depressions and suicides among career oriented women. Work related stress has made life difficult for all, but those who control the means of production…the true oppressors of women, big business, who these women work for and government, who pimps these women to big business. . A poll taken several years ago in Europe showed that 96% of women would rather not work…but they felt they have no choice has cost of living, inflation and other economic manipulation has forced them out of the home and into the production assembly line to create profits for other than themselves and their families.
Feminism is said to be about equality between men and women. The desire to be treated the same and to garner the same rights as men. In reality it is impossible for men and women to be equal, because comparing the two genders is like comparing apples to oranges. Both are fruits, both have colors, both grow on trees, yet both don’t look the same and function the same.
See my previous post men and women are not equal.
