Of protest music and redemption songs: How black people seek to overcome

Redemption :

1. The action of saving or being saved from sin, error, or evil. 
2. “God’s plans for the redemption of his world” . 
3. Saving, freeing from sin, absolution“God’s redemption of his people”.
4. The action of regaining or gaining possession of something in exchange for payment, or clearing a debt.
5. Retrieval, recovery, reclamation, repossession, return. 

Music has been described invariably by different people from the past from  (a) having the ability to sooth the savage breast to (b) when it hits you feel no pain.  Is in many ways a balm to deep wound, a source of spiritual inspiration, a science to strengthen the synapses of the brain and  a form of agitation to get you to killed. All these have been proven to be some of the more interesting affects music has on the hue-man body. Depending on how it has been used, music can also damage your body and kill you.

For instance, Afrikans in amurdikkka created a classical music..or Jazz…which has been known to both sooth and inspire the spirit, calm the mind and heal. European classical music have been proven to strengthen the brains synapses and calms the individual, as well. Modern day music, such as certain forms of Reggae, Rock and Roll, Funk also can inspire, motivate or leave one in a chilled out state. Blues are for people who don’t want to chill, but just to get some painful shit out of your system. This is why its called blues. But blues is also the progenitor of Rock and Roll, because after a period of mourning, one must be happy again. Right?

Modern Rap and Rock music have elements in them that can inspire the listeners to agitate and be angry, or again, to inspire and be motivated to grow. Continental Afrikan music have all of the above elements, based on whether you listen to Angelique Kidjo or fela anikulapo kuti, or numerous types of artists in between. Informed people have surely heard  that subliminal suggestions can be used to infiltrate the mind, by a nefarious entity, such as often sited when you play certain Rock songs backwards. Some people have stated they have heard odes to Satan and some like Charles Manson types have gotten messages to kill. Since I don’t believe in a mythical devil, nor have I heard any records played backwards and gotten any messages, I will leave these as just unverified talk. Though the possibilities should not be outright discarded in a gray state like atmosphere. What I do know is that scientists have verified that certain drum beats can mimic the hearts beat and can be manipulated in such a way to affect your body. This is why in some environment, or the stuff in modern music, a heavy drum beat gets the heart racing. Coupled that with strobe lights, alcohol and other drugs, nearly naked girls and heavy testosterone in a night club settings, usually generate violence, overt sexuality or even rapes.  All recipes for control and a different kind of inspiration.

From Afrika many are familiar with the talking drum. Drumming that seem to talk to the listeners and participants. However few are familiar with the walking drum. An almost obscure phenomena, where drumming can and have been in the past, used to disrupt the enemies molecular system. However, most won’t believe this, because most still won’t associate metaphysical science with Afrika. Not my problem, the disbelievers can all die in their ignorance anyway.

In North amurdikkka, the phenomena of music was first used in all of the ways during the turbulence of the Vietnam era and the 1960’s, when young yurugu’s and Afrikans in amurdikkka, railed against a government that was bent on very destructive behaviors against citizens and internationals. Protest music became a part of the lexicon and landscape of this continent. Within these musics, one is told a story about the dictatorial nature of man, his arrogance and violence against his fellow man and nature. His striving to be free and the plea for a better world.

In June 1989, the seminal rap group Public Enemy’s single and video became the theme song for Spikes Lee’s movie Do the Right Thing. At that time white folks lost their damn minds and like chicken little saw the song, video and movie as the coming apocalypse. Public enemy became the impetus for the music industry to redirect the black masses away from subversives  like Public Enemy , boogie Down Production and similar groups, using music to highlight the plight of Afrikan people in amurdikkka, as well as others disenfranchised through classicism, racism and other isms. Gangster or wankster raps became the norm of acceptable music for black people. Music became a sexed up, booty shaking, dick grabbing musical pornography. The protest music of the past became a celebration of excess and materialistic possessiveness of the have nots for the things of the have. Black people became confused around protest and protest music. Ever since the march for justice and hue-man rights for black people, in the 50’s and 60’s, became a civil rights event, orchestrated by the United Snakes government and enabled by sell out celebrity kneegrow leadership, the amurdikkklan kneegrow and all kneegrows on this continent have embraced protest marches and protest music as the best way to over come discrimination and oppression.

The civil rights hypnotism, pacified the anger generated in the 60’s and made us docile pets, who would rather sing songs and march and maybe break a few things, as a way to be heard and subsequently ignored. Some have used Fredrick Douglass’s eloquently put statement…“Power concedes nothing without demands. It never did and it never will!”, as some form of example of why modern protest and protest music may be accomplished.  Unfortunately, for those who love protest music…by itself…this is the only part of the quote they often use. They of course fail to quote the whole line, which is…”

“Those who profess to favor freedom and yet depreciate agitation, are people who want crops without ploughing the ground; they want rain without thunder and lightning; they want the ocean without the roar of its many waters. The struggle may be a moral one, or it may be a physical one, or it may be both. But it must be a struggle. Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will. Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them, and these will continue till they are resisted with either words or blows, or with both

The civil rights misdirection and modern still birth children of that tom foolery, such as the Black Lives Matter movement have used protest and marches, making noise and being impotently aggressive as a shaming tactic to try and get acceptance. I am not saying the frustration and anger is not real. Nor am i implying that honest and involved individuals are not doing their part in mentoring and working at the grass roots level to affect changes. I am saying that these activities are being done with the support and monitoring, set out by the oppressors and within the frame work of government funding and government rules. I am saying that these frustration and anger is being used by leaders or spokes people in this and other organization against the masses, and against the masses best interests, for a political or personal gain. Every one of us know about Jessie “messy” Jackson and Al ” snitch” Sharpton as two of the more notorious Judases among black people. Few overstand that, for example,  the leaders of the Black Lives Matter movement are two lesbians and a staunch feminazi , whose main purpose was to fight against alleged homophobia by men against lesbians and homosexuals.

Traditionally being on the outside looking in as part of the homosexual community, black homosexuals have utilized a tried and true method of using the Afrikan struggle as a vehicle to get personal attention and rewards and their voices heard. In the case of Cullors and Garza according to the story, they were spied sucking tongue in a park when some dude walked by and voiced his displeasure with what he saw. Out raged the two felt compelled to tackle the issue of discrimination against ….gays, lesbians, transgender people, trans sexual and whatever. However, some how they made it a overt black lives matter issue instead of what it should have been…a black lesbian/homosexual issue!

According to the definition of LGBTQ Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, or Questioning. Lesbian, gay, bisexual and questioning are sexual orientations. Trans is a gender identity. <<<<<—– This shit is so confusing its no joke!

Some how this protest morphed into a Black lives matter symbiosis where discrimination against people who suffer sexual misidentify is grouped into discrimination based on phenotypes. Worse, they are now funded by old white males who do not identify with either the LGBTQ community or the black community. Makes you wanna go mmmmm?  Civil rights misdirection also included the old protest music paradigm from the 60’s that people who lack discerning abilities, reading comprehension or even a basic overstanding of white pathology, praise as revolutionary. This is a direct tie in to our infection with Christianinsanity, where we still believe that singing kneegrow spiritual like music will appeal to the deficit morals of a immoral group of savages. Those lacking an overstanding of white pathology and what freedom entails, sit secure in their belief that this is ALL THEY NEED!

Let me get one thing clear. Revolution and protesting are not mutually exclusive.

6. Insist on, maintain, assert, affirm, announce, proclaim, declare,profess, contend, argue, claim, vow, swear (to), stress, formal.
7. Revolution
8. A forcible overthrow of a government or social order in favor of a new system.
9. Rebellion, revolt, insurrection, mutiny, uprising, riot, rioting, insurgence,seizure of power, coup (d’état)

Revolution is also a turn over, something that revolve around a central force. So even a revolution itself needs not be violent or riotous. One thing I can state from my soap box is that protesting gets you nowhere and revolution can cost lives. However, protest songs is a wast of time, if that is the extent of your protest and while it can lead to eventual revolution, revolution alone fails if there is no restitution involved. Restitution is restoring something lost or stolen to its proper owner. We have asked for reparations, but not restorations. We will neither get reparations nor restitution, because either would bankrupt White Pathology.  We have asked for Black rights and given civil rights. We have asked for acceptance but given more rejections and we have integrated and received more segregation. Our protest music are seen as more of an affront to those who benefit from White Pathology, than any fear of any chance of a revolution. Recently those who want crops without ploughing the ground; those who want rain without thunder and lightning; those who want the ocean without the roar of its many waters, got all excited by the performances of Beyonce’s formation video and song, as well as Kendrick Lamar’s Grammy awards presentation. Of course the feminazi’s and misdirected agitators promote a sexual chasm by claiming that Kendrick will get love, but the sexed up Beyonce will not because she is a woman. Never mind the fact that while I place Kendrick in the same category of circus performers, he was never a sexed up floozy, but has been known to put out thought more adult or intelligent music.

More importantly even Public Enemy, being a contracted salve to the music executives, the small hats that practice endless warfare against us, even Public Enemy had to cut ties with the S1W and Professor Griff. Even Public Enemy had to do shows at hard Rock concerts. In other words, the record companies tell you what kind of song you must put out and how you must comport yourself. So if a Beyonce could do that super bowl show and Kendrick Lamar can do that Grammy awards show, they are doing it at the behest of the industry, who are using our passivity against us. Or as the Movie critic, the professor stated…“blaxploitation movies were our in theater protest against the man, to stop us from protesting outside the theater”.

We have passed the time when protest music or even protesting and marching to gain acceptance from white people is still relevant. Those who benefit from White Pathology overstand the rules of the streets. If you are gonna pull a gun or a knife, you must use it. If you fail to set an example, then you will never be respected and any body can come check you the next time. Those who benefit from White Pathology have poisoned us, murdered us, disenfranchised us, mass incarcerated us, impoverished us and continue to enslave us. And not one single thing I mentioned, could continue without our domesticity, enabling and acceptance. Because we also partake in our own current state, directly or indirectly, through neglect of our children or our culture and through disunity. We have mass unemployment, yet we also have rich people who exploit the lesser among us or ignore us altogether. We have kneegrow officials who themselves disenfranchise us, incarcerate us, poison us and impoverish us.

We cannot be sure of having something to live for unless we are willing to die for it. If you tremble indignation at every injustice then you are a comrade of mine. Words that do not match deeds are unimportant. Real revolutionaries adorn themselves on the inside, not on the surface.—Che

Look I am not asking for Beyonce or Kendrick Lamar or anybody else to do more than they can. Or should. What I object to is the sycophants crowning them as revolutionary examples. They are not. They are musicians and while they can …well at least Lamar anyways… can put out music to make you think. They are still tools of the system. Anytime you are contracted to a corporation, you are under their control. And under their control they can get you to do anything that makes them money and anything to symbolically pacify the restless natives. Anytime you claim to be  an organization that agitates against oppression, yet receive funding from those agents of oppression. You are only as relevant as the money you get from those who benefit from you being token symbols of protests. Our children need us more than the symbols we adore. Protest music is symbolism without substance. Marching and protesting is symbolism with not concrete result. Revolution…actual physical revolution is non sustainable because we have neither the spirit, drive or environment for it. Yet revolution can still be had if we practice separation. Separation is not as difficult as we think. That is if we get our mouth out of the white mans kitchen, or assess off his toilet and our children out of his killing fields of the public fool shitstym. We used to practice this, but they bombed and shot us out of house, home and community. But that was 80-100 years ago. I would rather we attempt this again, this time willing to kill…some more…to protect what is ours….again! The only thing that is constant is change and protest music, by itself, or protest music delivered by contractual slaves, is not constant. It is stagnant and pointless. Cultural revolution, physical revolution, spiritual revolution. Now those are constant for people trying to become free.
