Legalize it or not?

I am not a pot smoker. I don’t endorse smoking marijuana. But neither do I support the uneducated decrying of marijuana as a debilitating horror drug. Not when alcohol is still legal. Not when cigarette is still legal. Not when prescription drugs, such as adderall and other drugs they use to drug up children under the guise of curing energetic children…called ADHD.

Unlike the amurdikkklan government’s schizophrenic approach to marijuana, which leaves the debate wanting. At least in Canada, there is a clear-cut angle for both sides to debate.  On July 1st, Canada day, the anniversary of the European’s collective theft of the land from the Algonquin and other native nations,  Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.. an admitted pot smoker and the son of a notorious pot smoker…will legalize the plant across the country.

The difference with folly tricksters like Trudeau and others in various parts of society, who  smoke undercover but pretend the don’t, in order to appease the bringer of bribes (lobbyist). For the longest while, I have told people, that as soon as the government figures out how to make money from weed, they will make it legal. The success of the Colorado and Washington experiment:

By the second year of legalization, marijuana tax revenues exceeded projections in both Colorado and Washington. In the most recent fiscal years, recreational marijuana brought in $129 million in taxes in Colorado and $220 million in Washington.

This morning, I was listening to a local radio debate on a local kneegrow channel, where the host and guest, as well as a few callers, were angry that the legalization will take place on Canada Day. The guest and others who called in, claimed that marijuana causes mental health issues and creates laziness and other anti social behaviors. Mind you, this is a society that sells alcohol and cigarette and forces prescription drugs on ignorant and fearful people, while endlessly shunning and putting down healthy alternatives to allopathic criminals.

It amazes me how some people are allowed outside into the sunlight and allowed to share their opinions. As stupid as they are. First of all, the his story of marijuana, was first paid for and lobbied for by newspaper magnet William Randolph Hurst, who believe it or not, owned a forest and wanted to use his trees as pulp, instead of using the more anciently used and better product in the hemp plant. By paying folly tricksters like Harry Anslinger, the government and lobbyist were successful in making marijuana illegal.

Since then every eeedyat, who think they know something, chimes in on both sides of the marijuana debate. However, the basic overstanding of marijuana and its effects on smokers is still overlooked. It is a well-known fact and tradition, that marijuana as a plant is a very powerful plant. That once brewed as a tea, is said to cure practically everything except death. The plant can even be used as garnishes and the pressed oil with its concentrated properties, maximizes the potency of the plant.

Hemp or industrial hemp (from Old English hænep), typically found in the northern hemisphere, is a variety of the Cannabis sativa plant species that is grown specifically for the industrial uses of its derived products. Hemp can be grown as a renewable source for raw materials that can be incorporated into thousands of products. Its seeds and flowers are used in health foods, organic body care, and other nutraceuticals. Hemp fibers and stalks are used in clothing, construction materials, paper, biofuel, plastic composites, and more.  Hemp has always had trouble stepping out of the shadow of its dirty cousin marijuana. … The hemp seed is bursting with Omega-6 and Omega-3, essential fatty acids that have heart health and anti inflammatory benefits. Hemp seeds are nutty in flavor and breathe life into salads, desserts, yogurt, cereals, and breads.

Difference between Hemp and Marijuana

This is a matter of semantics. Hemp refers to strains of Cannabis sativa that have been bred specifically for fiber used for clothing and construction, oils and topical ointments, nutritional benefits and a wide and growing variety of other purposes that don’t involve intoxication.

Marijuana is a slang term used to describe strains of Cannabis sativa specifically bred for the potent resinous glands (trichomes) that grow on the flowers and some leaves (buds). While there is some dispute over the origins of the term “marijuana,” it was introduced into popular use by Hearst-era newspapers as a way to instill fear of pot-smoking Mexicans.

And the smoking is where the debate goes off the rails. When I tell smokers that the best use of marijuana is as an edible of tea, I always get the eye roll. I realize that I am interfering with people’s sacred cow and need to dial it down. I mean marijuana smokers have not been on record as being violent. Until you take their weed from them. Then watch out. Thirteen years working with street people and addicts. Many of those thirteen years, spent leading addiction workshops and dealing with people who has mental health, has shown me that many of these scientists and medical drug pushers are paid flunkies for the anti-government forces.

The effects of smoking cigarettes and marijuana

Your lungs can be very badly affected by smoking. …Smoking can cause fatal diseases such as pneumonia, emphysema and lung cancer. Smoking causes 84% of deaths from lung cancer and 83% of deaths from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Smoking is harmful because there are many ingredients in tobacco smoke that can harm your body. The main health risks from smoking are lung cancer, heart disease and stroke. Smoking causes almost 90% of deaths from lung cancer, around 80% of deaths from COPD, and around 17% of deaths from heart disease.

Even when smoking marijuana, overstand that the lack of oxygen in the blood, that is reduced from ingesting smoke, often causes serious heart conditions and other health problems. In as few as 12 hours after quitting smoking, the carbon monoxide in your body decreases to lower levels. In turn, the amount of oxygen in your blood increases to normal levels.

Imagine smoking mint, spinach or collard greens.  You wouldn’t even conceive of this, yet this is how marijuana smokers approach this plant. Mind you the taste and euphoria while different, is just a matter of taste and practice. Society is filled with people with addictive personalities. People with limited coping mechanisms. People who seek an anchor, wherever they can find it. The anchor includes reLIEgion, folly tricks, money, sex, material things, make up, shoes, sports, and so on and so on.

Without these anchors, many in today’s society end up doing some crazy shit. Include killing themselves, because they lose the anchor, that keeps them grounded to reality. Many of these people smoke marijuana, believing that this is safer than cigarette. Mind you they don’t avoid booze, like they do cigarettes. Marijuana smokers do appear lazy, but which comes first? The smoker or the laziness? Considering that I have interacted with productive individuals who smoke for most of their lives. Considering that I have interacted with individuals who are short time smokers, who exhibit a listless and careless approach to life. I can only conclude that it is the individual’s personality, coping mechanism and even deeper susceptible to the effects, that make them flip out and fall out after smoking weed. More than the weed itself.

One more thing. Government involvement in marijuana purposes to remove the very item the THC, that gives marijuana its specific buzz. Thus as the government taxes you up the ass, they are also cheating you by giving you inferior product. How is that different from the dealer who sells inferior weed, or worse spike it with coke to make you more addicted to his product. Or even worser, sell you hydroponic weed, which is basically chemical induced plant, grown without soil. These are the things that both sides of the debate fail to consider or are to ignorant to research.

At the end of the day, smokers will smoke and become addicted, because that is just another anchor for them. It will damage them over a long period, due to the smoke invading the body or the added shit, that authentic weed doesn’t need. Or..the government will tax you and criminalize others, who has the audacity to try to be an independent business man, selling weed. As well, if you don’t buy marijuana for medical purposes ( which needs a doctors input and getting them paid) then you are illegally purchasing marijuana. A criminal act in of itself in western democracy.
