“She love to party, have a good time
She looks so hearty, feeling fine….”
As of March 23rd 2018…after six weeks of showing, the Disney produced Black Panther raked in a new domestic total of $630.9m, to officially out-grossed the $623m of The Avengers. Making it the fifth-biggest domestic grosser of all time in North Amurdikkka. And with $1.237 billion worldwide after only six weeks, Black Panther is No. 12 on the all-time worldwide-grossed chart, between Fate of the Furious ($1.236b) and Beauty and the Beast ($1.263b). And it should pass Beauty and the Beast as early as the end of next.
What this tells me is there is untapped gold in the Afurakan experience. Even one that is a hollywierd production.
Yet despite the useless and unnecessary negativity, poured on to the movie by certain segment of black people, the Black Panther movie offered a false reimagening to others who envisioned what Afuraka would seem like, sans the infection of Europe and A-rob colonialism.
It’s a false reimagening because they failed to take into effect that Wakanda’s uniqueness lies ONLY in its possession of the extraterrestrial metal called Vibranium. And without Vibranium, not only would Wakanda not be an isolationist society. It would have been ne of the colonialists many victims.
A pimper’s paradise, that’s all she was now
She loves to smoke, sometime shiftin’ coke
She’ll be laughin’ when there ain’t no joke
The notion of a sovereign Afurakan society, free from colonialist and imperialist influence and possession, is a subconscious “what if”, banded about, mostly by the mainstream Afurakan misinterpretations. It’s a feel good wish/wonder many of us like dream about. Afuraka has for millennia, been the playground, dumping ground and pimpers paradise of numerous Asian and European states and empires.
A pimper’s paradise, that’s all she was now
Pimper’s paradise, that’s all she was

Parliament on Friday night, March 23, 2018, approved the controversial Ghana-US defence cooperation agreement which seeks to provide the United States access into the country to camp its military forces.
The approval was done by only Majority Members of Parliament because the Minority staged a walkout during the debate on the Floor of the House.
It appears the House was bent on getting the agreement through before it rises for recess.
“This House adopts the report from the joint committee on defense and interior,” the Speaker of Parliament, Professor Mike Oquaye said after the approval.
Prior to staging the walkout, the Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu, spoke for close to 17 minutes giving a litany of reasons why they believe the agreement should not be ratified by Parliament.
Cabinet approves MoU
Ghana’s Cabinet had agreed to provide the US’ military troop a place near the Kotoka International Airport, and give them unhindered access to some key installations following a Memorandum of Understanding between the government of Ghana and the US government.
The MoU was laid before before Parliament on Tuesday recommending to Parliament to ratify the agreement, but it was rejected by the opposition in Parliament.
With the agreement ratified, it means that the US troops will among other things be exempted from paying taxes on equipment that are brought to Ghana as well as use Ghana’s radio spectrum for free.
The troops and their equipment will also have unhindered access to the US forces and their equipment.
Although many Ghanaians have expressed resentment over the clauses of the agreement, the Defence Minister, Dominic Nitiwul, said the agreement is in the best interest of Ghana.
The Government has consistently explained that it was only respecting the existing Status of Forces Agreement with the US signed since 1998 and reviewed in 2015, under the previous NDC administration.
But the NDC Minority has downplayed this argument saying the agreement as existed in the past, did not have the same clauses like the current one that gives the US unlimited access to Ghana’s military facilities.
The US Embassy in Ghana has also explained that it is only planning joint security exercises with Ghana, which will require that US military personnel are allowed access to Ghana’s military facilities, and that they are not building a military base.
“The current Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) between the United States of America and the Republic of Ghana is approximately 20 years old. It does not cover the current range and volume of bilateral exercises and assistance. This year, the United States of America is investing over $20 million in training and equipment for the Ghanaian armed forces. Ghana is also once again preparing to train U.S forces – as it did in 2017. The United States and Ghana are planning joint security exercises in 2018, which require access to Ghanaian bases by US participants and those from other nationals when included,” a statement from the US Embassy said.
Africom proposes to concentrate efforts on “contributing to the development of capable and professional militaries that respect human rights, adhere to the rule of law, and more effectively contribute to stability in Africa”. There work is guided by the U.S. National Security Strategy, the National Military Strategy, and others such as the Presidential Policy Directive for Sub-Saharan Africa and the U.S. Defense Strategic Guidance.
The entire mission statement can be accessed on their website
In other words Africom exists to further US interest in Sub Sahara Afuraka with the explicit directive from the white house. So why do they need a specific bases in Ghana when they already have military deployment in and around Ghana and in other Sub Saharan countries?

Ghana, is Afuraka’s largest gold producer, producing 80.5 t from as far back as 2008, is also a major producer of bauxite, manganese and diamonds. Recently Ghana has discovered a new mineral, Lithium in commercial quantities. Lithium, is among the top 10 most expensive minerals in the world which was discovered in the Volta Region by the Minerals Commission.
Lithium can be used for the manufacture of batteries, heat-resistant glass, ceramics, among other things. Both lithium metal and its compounds have many uses. Lithium stearate is mixed with oils to make all-purpose and high-temperature lubricants.
Lithium hydroxide is used to absorb carbon dioxide in space vehicles. Lithium is alloyed with aluminum, copper, manganese, and cadmium to make high-performance alloys for aircraft.
Bahnmetall consists of lead-containing 0.04% lithium, 0.7% calcium and 0.6% sodium is harder than pure lead and was used for railroad car bearings in Germany. Compounds such as LiAlH4 and organolithium reagents (LiMe, LiPh, etc.) are very important as reagents in organic chemistry
Lithium metal has the highest specific heat of any solid element and its sometimes used as battery anode material (high electrochemical potential). Lithium compounds are used in dry cells and storage batteries. Lithium is used in the manufacture of special high strength glasses and ceramics sometimes, lithium-based compounds such as lithium carbonate (Li2CO3) are used as drugs to treat manic-depressive disorders.
