To masurbate or not to masturbate. Is this even a question?

Masturbation is the sexual stimulation of one’s own genitals for sexual arousal or other sexual pleasure, usually to the point of orgasm.

However the post is not about the physical pleasuring of ones self.  In this case I am referring to the euphemistic self pleasuring ALL OF US at some time will engage in.

And we do this self pleasuring via two distinct vehicle.  Intellectual masturbation and “conscious” masturbation. Many of us have accused someone else of engaging in intellectual masturbation.

  1. I concur. This is an excellent article and physical/sexual masturbation is a subject that needs to be discussed within our community. I know some people may disagree but I would rather our kids learn about abstinence and masturbation as a deterrent to teen pregnancy. If properly taught they could definitely learn self-control, but here lies the problem. There are not enough spiritually mature individuals in our community to instruct our youth. I mean would you want this subject being taught by anyone to our kids? I certainly would not, which is the reason it is important that we get our own thing going. Yah know?

  2. The problem with masterbation is that there is no EXCHANGE of energy (in sex), information/knowledge (intellectually), or wisdom (consciousness). Like you’re said, simple pleasurement of self, when in excess, gives one an inflated sense of ego overflowing with pride and bankrupt with humility. Hence the importance of having healthy, productive RELATIONSHIPS to share ideas beneficial to each party, no matter the medium. 👍👍👍

    1. Brother if this wasn’t on my post I would steal it for the article😊😊😊
The exchange if energies whether via sex or dialogue is so crucial to overstanding and healthy productive relationship. Thanks for filling the blanks Asafo
